The Eastern Geophysics Timeline

  • 1980: Eastern Geophysics Limited was incorporated on July 16 by David Zwicker and Brian d’Entremont. The original services offered were Induced Polarization (IP) and Gravity ground surveys.

  • 1984:  HLEM, TDEM, and Magnetics were added to our list of services.

  • 1989:  First GPS survey (Bathurst mining camp, NB.).

  • 1995:  Agreement with Crone Geophysics & Exploration for carrying out surface & borehole PEM survey.

  • 1999:  David Zwicker retires.

  • 1999:  Suzanne d’Entremont – Office manager.

  • 1999:  Bennett d’Eon – Field manager.

  • 2001:  Working extensively outside Canada.

  • 2005:  Utilizing DGPS as primary tool for X,Y, and Z positioning for gravity surveys.

  • 2008:  Major equipment upgrade.

  • 2010:  Completed the largest ground gravity survey in Nova Scotia's history.

  • 2012 – 13:  Major software upgrade.
